Training
Bespoke Group Rides
Many people have gained confidence and started riding again having joined in our fun rides and mass rides. Riding in a large group is easy and allows one to gain skills before venturing out in smaller groups then on their own.
Eastbourne Borough Council
Their website contains useful information, such as this: Diary of guided cycle rides and events, 3 April – 26 September 2010

Also the local council do cycle training for adults although the advertising for this is embedded in their section on training kids - we did give them feedback on this, suggesting that it be given it's own page, and pointed out that a lot of adults had stated that confidence on the roads was a major influence on why they didn't use their bikes (more). - this can also be accessed through www.eastsussex.gov.uk/cycling .
(We are still to contact the person running this stuff to see if they are happy for us to add links etc to our site. While in conversation we shall also bring up the subject of the non-transparency of this service.)

Independant Cycle Training
Charges are £25 - 30 per session (not per person) - for on road cycle training, which is restricted to 2 people max. The instructor works with all ages and abilities, including absolute beginners. Most questions should be answered on his easily navigated website. Nice bloke!

Click on many other links to private cycle training for all abilities and ages, and there is much to investigate.
